Waiwera Infinity Thermal Spa Resort, New Zealand

Text Box: A fun day at Waiwera Infinity Thermal Spa Resort
             Only 35 minutes from Auckland.
11 members of the Adams Family went to Waiwera To celebrate Donnya`s 9th Birthday, arriving at 11.30pm on a Saturday.
This is my first time there and I thought it was just a couple of warm pools.
But on entering the complex I was over whelmed by the size of the place so much so we did not know where to go to first, after trying a few places (and there's is plenty of spots to chose from) we set up a base place so everyone will know where their towels, clothes, food, will be and then they were off, everybody seemed to run in different directions leaving just me and my video camera.
It wasn't long before my wife was claiming she had made the biggest splash at the bottom of the waterslide than the grand kids had.
It was all go all day, the only time they slowed down was to celebrate our Grand daughters Birthday lunch cooked on one of the complex`s hired barbeques, then a quick “Happy Birthday to you”, cut the cake and they were of again, some to the Movie Pool others to the Black Hole Water Slide, while the older ones relaxed in the Laver Pool.
They all were so involved in the activities they did not see me sneak off to the car park for a quick “Moe Moe” (afternoon nap) and you know what my hand was stamped as I went out through the doors so I could come back in later for free.
I called an end to the day at about 6.30pm, it took another halve an hour to find every body and with much protesting from the Grand kids “we want to stay till its dark” “its to early they not closing yet” “just once more down the big Twister” we headed home.
I found the staff very polite and trust worthy with our Grand children and Waiwera Spa and Hot Pools a clean and tidy place.
I recommend this complex as having a good family atmosphere and a special treat to visits.
